Care Guide
GENERAL CARE GUIDELINES
Preliminary check
Before any cleaning process, always review the manufacturer’s instructions provided with the product. Take into account the presence of mixed materials, delicate finishes, or special treatments that may require specific care methods. When in doubt, opt for gentle cleaning techniques or spot testing on a small, hidden area.
Storage
When not in use, store shoes in a dry, well ventilated environment, away from moisture, direct sunlight, and heat sources.
Proper storage helps preserve the shape, color, and quality of materials over time. If possible, use shoe trees or place tissue paper inside the shoes to maintain their structure.
NYLON
Nylon is a durable and technical material, but proper care is essential to preserve its appearance and performance over time
Surface dirt removal
Before washing, gently remove dust and dry dirt using a soft-bristle brush or a slightly damp cloth. This step helps prevent dirt from settling deeper into the fibers during cleaning.Hand washing
Hand washing is the preferred method for nylon shoes. Use lukewarm water and a mild or neutral detergent, applying it with a soft cloth or brush. Clean using gentle movements, focusing on the most soiled areas, and avoid aggressive products or bleaching agents that could damage the fabric. Rinse carefully without fully immersing the shoe.Drying
After cleaning, allow the shoes to air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Avoid tumble dryers or direct heat sources, as excessive heat may deform the nylon structure or cause discoloration. To help maintain the shoe’s shape, place absorbent paper or a clean cloth inside during drying.
MICROFIBRE
Microsuede is a soft, refined material designed to replicate the look and feel of suede while offering improved durability. Proper care is essential to maintain its texture and appearance over time
Surface dirt removal
Gently remove dust and light dirt using a soft suede brush or a dry microfibre cloth. Brush lightly in one direction to lift dirt without damaging the surface. Avoid using excessive water, as microsuede can lose its texture if over-saturated.Hand washing
For deeper cleaning, use a small amount of lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Lightly dampen a cloth and gently dab the surface, avoiding vigorous rubbing. Focus on stained areas and allow the material to dry naturally between passes. Harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive tools should be avoided, as they may damage the fibers.Drying
Allow microsuede shoes to air dry at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not use hair dryers, radiators, or tumble dryers. Once dry, lightly brush the surface with a suede brush to restore its original texture.
ECO LEATHER
Eco-leather is an innovative material designed to replicate the look and feel of traditional leather while offering a more sustainable alternative. To keep eco-leather shoes clean, soft, and in good condition over time, a few simple care practices are recommended
Surface dirt removal
Remove dust and light dirt using a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. For more visible marks, gently dab the surface without rubbing. Avoid abrasive sponges or rigid tools, as they may damage the outer layer.Hand washing
For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water and a mild detergent or a product specifically designed for synthetic materials. Lightly dampen a soft cloth, wring it out well, and clean the surface using gentle movements. Avoid solvents, alcohol, bleach, or harsh chemicals, as these may cause cracking, discoloration, or loss of flexibility.Drying
After cleaning, allow the shoes to air dry at room temperature, away from direct heat sources and sunlight. Do not use tumble dryers, hair dryers, or radiators, as excessive heat may stiffen or deform the eco-leather. Once dry, you may gently wipe the surface with a clean, dry cloth to restore an even finish.
